He works meticulously to recreate what he sees, observing the finest details and subtleties in light and form. A renowned portraitist, Andrews also specialises in landscapes and animal paintings. He lived and worked on a farm for a number of years and gained inspiration from the flora and fauna that surrounded him. He views this as a natural progression, imbuing his landscapes with the same depth and emotion that are perceptible in his other works.
