About the Item

This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. Henk Jan Sanderman's "Mine:" is a captivating blend of sculpture and painting that beckons viewers into a world of whimsy and wonder. This original artwork features a stunning fusion of mediums, with porcelain and bronze sculptures intricately integrated onto a triptych canvas. At the heart of the piece are two lifelike painted porcelain bunny rabbits, their fur rendered with exquisite detail and realism. From the delicate features of the rabbits to the subtle texture of the carrot and the intricate weaving of the red string, each element is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of life and movement. Against a backdrop of minimalist white and black, punctuated by bursts of orange and brown, the composition comes alive with warmth and vibrancy. The color scheme enhances the visual impact of the artwork, drawing viewers deeper into its enchanting narrative.
