Tomo Mori Abstract Paintings
Japanese
Born in Osaka, Japan, Tomo Mori received a BFA from Atlanta College of Art, and worked for an international news agency for 11 years after graduation. As a graphic designer she supported top journalists covering news from all over the world 24/7. This experience of seeing the world from a newsroom perspective planted seeds for her missions as an artist today.
Mori’s work focuses on the interconnectedness and healing in the space where we experience many conflicts and struggles.
As a first-generation immigrant and a mother with inconsistent access to separate studio space, she has learned to integrate her creative life with her cultural heritage and domestic existence, blurring the lines between different aspects of her identity as a woman.
Mori has exhibited her works in various galleries, from local community venues to international events like SCOPE Miami.
She also has a strong passion for public art installations. She was given diverse commissions from the MTA Arts and Design in 2018 and Columbia University in 2016. She has created a mural for Governors Island as a part of a 2019 summer program. Most recently she completed work on a corporate commission for Swan Reserve Hotel in Orlando, FL.to

Ritual Object Locus 1 - Sculptural Abstract Original Painting Minimalist
By Len Klikunas
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Artist Len Klikunas paints to modify experienced reality through visual perception. His art is a mix of art and architecture, hovering between painting and sculpture. It employs shizen (自然): the Japanese concept of naturalness, absence of pretense, or artificiality. Material is stretched over a supporting three-dimensional framework, like a tent, and coated with paint.
This multi-dimensional 18-inch square and 3.25-inch deep post-minimalist artwork is wired and ready to hang. It is created with mixed media on canvas, stretched over a three-dimensional wooden form. The sides of this artwork are finished by the artist as a continuation of the front, and it does not require framing. The artist signs and titles the artwork on the back. Convenient delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included.
Klikunas focuses on the larger idea behind his original abstract minimalist artworks. The work is characterized by “mindful artlessness” and simplicity. The natural-like radiation that comes from the structure of the materials and color schemes expresses calmness. With a fusion of art and architecture, Klikunas presents compositions that defy conventional perceptions. Through strategic placement and a rich color palette, he creates three-dimensional structures that engage viewers in a captivating visual experience.
Len Klikunas' sculptural minimalist works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles. They have been exhibited and collected throughout the world.
