This antique pair of table lamps from Italy each feature a 19th century hand-carved wooden candlesticks, with a circular neck (where the candlestick would have originally been placed), atop an ornately carved body, which takes on a more rectangular-shape at the base, and are raised on three carved feet which scroll up into volutes. The six torch light arms with spiralized posts are attached to the central beam with ornately decorated iron backplates. The arms each support metal bobèches and painted candle sleeves. The wood beam has a light, natural finish with scallop-carved sides at each far end, making the beam widest along it's top.
