A rare George III Mug made in Sheffield in 1815 by Thomas Blagden & Company.
This very rare mug is of a small size and was most probably for the use of a Lady. The slender tapering sides stand on a spreading foot and are decoarted with plain horizontal girdles. This fine example has a slightly everted rim and plain scroll handle. The Mug is of a good weight and gauge and is marked on the side with a crisp set of hallmarks. Georgian Mugs...

A fine and impressive, large antique George III English sterling silver cream jug made by Henry Chawner, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection.
This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has an oval shaped form.
The surface of the incurved panelled body is plain and embellished with a bright cut engraved oval carotuche to either side, one side bears the contemporary engraved initials' and the other remains vacant.
The upper and lower rims are encompassed with applied reed decorated borders.
This fine Georgian silver cream jug is fitted with a plain scrolling handle ornamented with applied moulded decoration.
This impressive example of antique silverware was crafted by the renowned and collectable London silversmith Henry Chawner.
