Splendid early 19th century Biedermeier secretaire/ secretary desk from the renowed period in Vienna/ Austria around 1820/25. A spectacular, early example of a Biedermeier secretary which has been venereed with finest mirror-matched nutwood, showing an extraordinary grain - just see how elegantly the grain pattern runs down from the top to the base without any visible interuption. This perfect sized Biedermeier secretaire impresses with its cambered worked doors, a drawer on the top and a fold-down writing surface. Influenced by the previous empire epoch, this superb, antique secretary is adorned by two beautifully worked full columns. When you fold down the lockable writing surface, the amazing designed interior opens up to the viewer´s eye: 9 small drawers and another large one on top, architecturally structured with ebonized column decoration and the still original mirror (unfortunately cracked - see picture#18) in the back. Artfully worked brass applications with lion heads finalize the spectacular look. Beautiful early 20th century Art Nouveau buffet/ cabinet out of Austria made by the renowed company of Viennesse cabinetmaker Heinrich Bäck around 1910. The lower part provides two doors, both adorned by a fantastic looking inlayed patterns as well as a two drawers. A slightly pink/ orange shining marple plate on top and the still original facet cut mirror plate (showing aging spots/ slight scratches) in the back gives this matchless 20th century buffet a matchless appearance. The attached upper part with two facet cut glass panelled doors floats on four beautiful carved solid wooden columns, all additionally edged by polished brass applications. Two smaller compartments - veneered in fine birds eye maple - appear behind these lovely worked doors that can be wide opened. Another great highlight is the delicate silver coated floral design on the glass panels. Elaborately made brass fittings and a brass strip around the bottom edge completes the incredible look this lovely antique Art Nouveau buffet...

Made around 1760 with highest attention to details, this one of a kind museum-quality commode is not only a precious item of antique furniture, much more it is a real smart investment. The very time-consuming restoration of this masterpiece took us more than 9 weeks and has been done by our most experienced master of restoration. The ultimate goal was it to restore it the old way to keep the unbelievable charme of this valuable 18th century dresser. With an age of more than 260 years, this remarkable rare chest of drawers comes with an elegant shaped body made of spruce and poplar, elaborately set nutwood/ cherry veneer and incredible marquetry works all over this unique italian commode. Providing two large drawers, this outstanding 18th century dresser is adorned by fantastic looking, inlayed depicitions of women surrounded by extensively designed round frames made of maple, nut and plum wood. The largest depiction on the front even runs over both drawers. The top plate is an absolute highlight, impressing with this amazing worked 3D-effect frame made of fine ebony, maple and plum wood which looks like a spiral. The same design has also been used on the front of this precious chest of drawers. The second frame with a slight green shine has been additionally surrounded by thin maple threads. Other exceptional 3D effect maple inlays in form of chain links can be found on both sides of the front pilasters. This exceptional "chain" effect is reinforced by so-called "Schwarlot" paintings - a technique which confers it this special depth. Outstanding 19th century chest of drawers from the famous Biedermeier period in Vienna/ Austria around 1840. Impressing with an absolute fantastic grain, this elaborately restored commode offers four large, lockable drawers which provide a lot of storage room. The high-quality nutwood veneer has been set in an absolute beautiful manner to make it look like it is running down from top to the bottom without any interruption. In contrast to that the slightly curved pilaster strips show a horizontally veneered surface. Fantastic looking brass key blades in the shape of shields and a traditional handmade shellac polish finalize the exceptional appearance of this fine austrian Biedermeier chest of drawers...
