Stunning Example of a single English Minton Porcelain Two Branch Candelabra, modelled as a Cherub holding on each hand an out swept candle holder, seated on an oval base above an elaborate footed stand. Circa third quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier Exquisitely decorated in colours of turquoise on white glazed ground with lavish gold highlights. Condition: Good condition for such an early piece with no losses, no discoloring anywhere. Typically unmarked as pieces of this early period. An Italian pair of acanthus carved single-candle wall sconces from the early 20th century. This antique pair of wall decorations from Italy each feature elegantly hand-carved scrolling acanthus leaf plaques, full of beautiful ribbing and texture. Lightly carved floral outlines further embellish the voided spots within the front of the wooden backplates. A single carved-wood arm, maintaining the scrolled acanthus leaf theme, gently protrudes out from the center bottom, each terminating into a ruffled metal leaf bobe`che, ready to receive a single candlestick within it's center.
