The Italian project Q.bo Sculture does not intend to recreate the object in a different form but to elevate it to a real sculpture while mantaining the functional part it was create for. Drawer can be opened as originally, door opens downwards and closes with magnet. The inside of the cabinet is natural as it shows the authentic wood. The finish is eco-friendly resin colored In Verona red, mustard yellow and blue hand applied with a spatula in two coats. This technique creates a visual and tactile effect and gives a protection from scratches and small bumps. Furthermore the cabinet is cleanable with a damp cloth and is water-repellent. The wood is in constant motion, cracks and small chinks on the surface are natural and unstoppable parts of the life of this piece.
