Arnold Beauvais (1886-1984) Arnold Victor Beauvais was born in Lewisham on 13 April 1886, son of a French father, the artist Charles Henri Beauvais, and an English mother, Anne, née Corfield. He trained in his father's commercial art studio during the day, working on lithographic printing and poster design, and took night classes at the Bolt Court Art School in Fleet Street. Helena Malarewicz-Krajewska (born 14 July 1910 in Biecz , died May 7, 1998 in Warsaw) is a Polish painter, active advocate of socialist realism. Studied between 1928 and 1929 at the Free School of Painting and Drawing in Cracow , from 1929 to 1934 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw : painting by Mieczysław Kotarbiński and Felicjan Szczęsny Kowarski and graphic art by Władysław Skoczylas and Leon Wyczółkowski . During his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw he worked in the Association of Independent Socialist Youth "Życie". At the end of 1945, Helena and Juliusz Krajewscy lived in Warsaw. Helena Krajewska participated in the creation of the first Polish Fine Arts Association. Krajewscy became members of the PPR party organization at the Fine Arts Association. In 1947 she became the President of the Board of the Warsaw District of the Union of Polish Artists , and in 1948 the Secretary of the Polish United Workers' Party at the ZPAP. In December 1985, an exhibition of works by Helena and Juliusz Krajewski took place in Warsaw's Zacheta. After 1989 some of the paintings of the Krajewski were transferred to the gallery of socialist realist art of the Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka. Educated in Budapest and France where he received a degree in philosophy from the Sorbonne, Paris. Returned to Budapest to study art at the Fine Arts Academy, then continued his studies at the Academie Julienne, Paris, where he was influenced by the post impressionist artists including Picasso, Salvadore, Dali and Chagall. His motto was “history is the inevitable conveyance of great situations by great personalities.” He came to England due to the Hungarian uprising in 1956 where he taught history of art and art appreciation.
