The symbolism:

The concept has its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity, and it was reflected in the artistic genre of Vanitas, where symbolic objects such as hourglasses and wilting flowers signified the impermanence of human life.

The Painting’s Qualities
Lyubena Fox’s paintings are painted in several layers, using both the transparent and opaque qualities of oil paint. Each layer is applied after the previous has dried which makes the painting withstand time. It also creates a glowing, three-dimensional effect, which is due to the different layers showing though each other. These paintings are painted following the logic of how the eye perceives: seeing the details in the context of the form. To create a fulfilling experience, the images are composed of places, full of detail for the eye to explore and places where the eye can rest.

Bio
Lyubena Fox was born in 1994 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
2013 she graduated from the National school of fine arts Bulgaria, specializing in illustration. The same year she moved to Florence, Italy to study painting with John M. Angel and in 2016 graduated from Angel Academy of Art Florence, after which she studied with Alessandro Dari.
2017 she has two solo exhibitions in Sofia.
2018 Lyubena has three of her paintings qualified as ARC finalists and later in May studies painting with her favorite contemporary painter Roberto Ferri...

Maestro Aleksandr Kryushyn was Born in 1982 in Kerch (Crimea, Ukraine)
Alexandr Kryushyn is a professional painter. He studied at the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In his work, Alexandr combines the traditions of the European school of painting with a bright author's emotional manner of implementation. The artist has a great experience of painting on the plein air, and this allows him to masterfully work in color. Each picture of the author has a unique composition and color mood. The artist's inspiration is the search for love, beauty, harmony and aesthetics in the surrounding world. The Stanislav Belovski's paintings are a great example that the vintage style prevails lately and is also present in the world of contemporary art.
