About Coppel Design
As an innovative designer with European roots, Angie Socias, brings a passion for creating spaces as unique as each of her clients. Drawing from her upbringing in Madrid, and having worked across major world cities including London, Dubai, Ghana, and now Los Angeles, Angie possesses a diverse worldly eye that gives life to her client’s visions with unique and vibrant depth.
As the now Founder and Art Director of Coppel Design, Angie has a wealth of experience and background in the design world. In 2012, following a seven-year career stint at one of the most reputable interior design firms in the UK, Candy & Candy. Now taking that expansion one step further with her own venture Coppel Design, Angie is afforded the artistic freedom to do what she loves, bring each client’s taste to life in a way they couldn’t have imagined, without bias or agenda. While her company specializes in luxury residential, the overall work history reflects her major philosophy of amenability, with experience across the commercial and hospitality spheres.
A longtime lover of art, and Founder of Up & Coming Art Gallery, part of Angie’s design basis lays in the vital role art plays in interior design. “Art is key to my work”, says the founder. "If a painting, a photograph or a sculpture is not suitable for an empty space, the entire interior work is worthless. The art and decor should always go hand in hand.”
Angie carries Interior Architecture degrees from both The Polytechnic University of Madrid and at Saint Martins School of Art in London. When not working, she devotes her time and energy as a mentor and supporter, cultivating the skills of young emerging artists.
