An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver treacle tin / container; an addition to our dining silverware collection This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver treacle tin/container has a plain cylindrical form. The surface of this antique tin is plain with an applied moulded border to the upper and lower rim. This impressive tin retains the original hallmarked push fit cover. The underside of this exceptional container bears the registration number '73977'. Condition This antique silver tin is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The container has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and anterior surface of the cover have slight wear in keeping with age and location. Dimensions Diameter 11cm/4.3" Height 7.2cm/2.8" Weight 9.9 troy ounces/308g Maker: Horace Woodward & Co. Ltd.
