Vintage 1950's black velvet netting hairband bird feather hairband fascinator

About the Item

This truly mesmerising 1950's headband, constructed on a plastic hairband base which has been mounted with black velvet, upon which a stylised black sequin and feather bird is perched, is the perfect finish touch to your ensemble. The elegant tail feathers of the bird curl around the side of the headband and join the black birdcage veil, which boasts small velvet appliqués. Label: none Measurements Width of Hairband : 1 inch Internal length: 11 inches Size: One size fits all Material: velvet appliqués, sequins, feathers, internal plastic hairband, velvet, netting Condition: In beautiful vintage condition, with light and natural impressions to the velvet along the hairband . A few very light glue marks along the beak of the bird. These minor details are not apparent when the hairband is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
