The embodiment of 1930s millinery, this petite saucer reflects the decade’s focus on small, cheerful hats perched playfully on the head. What makes it unique is its ingenious use of skillfully-darted ribbon to create a head cradle so the hat remains perched as intended without the use of hat pins.
Inverted straw saucer hat with 4 ¼” grosgrain ribbon woven over crown and around rear of head to form a cradle; grosgrain bonnet ties.
