About the Item

This beautiful and architectural 1930's straw and silk jersey hat, is a rare piece to behold. The high stylised open crown of the hat is accented by pleated chartreuse coloured silk jersey, contouring an angled open trilby crown feature. The curved oval shaped straw brim features an internal wire frame, which allows for the hat to keep its tilted shape. The black straw brim features an internal crown, which sits within the angled open trilby design of the hat. Finished with a pleated silk jersey band, which allows for the hat to be positioned in place along the nape. Her medium brim and elegant back bow complete this breathtaking piece.
