About the Item

Extraordinary and very rare vintage 1920s shawl with jade green and silver burn out panne silk velvet in an art deco style geometric pattern. Semi-circle in shape, the shawl has green and silver tassels around the curved edge with the plain edge to be worn around the neck. In excellent condition especially for something of this age with no noticeable flaws to mention. Length 164cm/ 64.5" Width (at widest point) 82cm/ 32.5" Tassel Length 35cm/ 14"
