Combined with the new fashion movements that relied on the use of vivid color, inspiration from Japanese dress fit this aesthetic. The traditional Japanese kimono, often featuring vivid yet pastel hues and floral embroidery is reimaged in this vintage recreation. Done in silk, this garment showcases an avian motif with tones of blush, red-orange, cornflower, green, and gold with oriental styled clouds in the background. This motif is bordered by panels of solid fuchsia.
