A spectacular gold lamé evening shawl from the Art Deco period in France. Square shawl with reversible design, woven edged with gold lamé on a black satin ground. Twelve large flowers in bloom in shades of red, orange, pink, black and cream in large concentric circles with a spiral effect in the background. Long fringes tied with black silk cords on all four sides. Beautifully supple lamé evoking the supple drapes of the Art Deco period. There are no defects apart from a few tangled fringes. Very good colour and condition. Dimensions: 112 cm x 115 cm, plus fringes 44 cm.
