About the Item
The sturdy net is covered in baroque wool appliqués outlined with silk soutache braid. The neckline and center front are edged in handmade cluny lace. The hem is trimmed in silk tasseled fringe which is the only area really showing age. In pretty phenomenal condition for its age dating from the mid 1870s to the early 1890s.
