About the Item

An iconic piece of fashion, this original 1960's cream wool coat with faux sheepskin accents is the perfect piece to welcome the cooler months with. The deep v shaped neckline is edged with a wide faux sheepskin collar, drawing in along the front of the waistline with a large concealed hook and eye fastening. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, which are edged with wide faux sheepskin cuffs. The elegant fitted bodice, sets off the fit and flare cut of the coat, which draws in along the waistline and is accented by a matching cream wool belt with a wool covered threaded buckle. The elegant flared lined of the coat is set off by a wide faux sheepskin fur hemline, completing this piece in an iconic 1960's Penny Lane Silhouette. This coat is fully lined in cream rayon. LabeL: Petite Junior Originals, by Ruby Martin Measurements of the Coat Armpit to Armpit: up to 34 inches Shoulder to Hem: 35 inches Shoulder to end of sleeve: 22 inches Waist: up to 27 inches Hips: up to 40 inches Shoulder to Shoulder: 15 inches Size: UK 8 US 4 Closures: 1 large hook and eye along the waistline and a matching belt. Condition: This coat is in near perfect condition. An age mark along the internal lining on the right hand side just below the armhole. Two age marks along the internal lining along the left hand side of the internal bodice. Wear to the underside lining of the belt, this is creased and shows signs of wear. Small areas of gentle wear to the wool finish along the back of the coat skirt-line. These minor details are in no way apparent when the coat is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection.
