Antique French embroidered natural rustic linen, shift dress, slip dress, night dress. Hand woven rustic linen in a cream with slight bluish grey tones, and the natural irregularities that are found in hand processed linen textiles. Beautifully hand stitched seams and scallop embroidered neckline & arm openings. Hand embroidered satin stitch initials are done in red, MC. This is a weighty flax linen with body and slight roughness, not a hemp linen. Well cared for From the late 20th C. Washed & ironed, ready to wear. Fits like a medium or small large.
