About the Item
A transitional piece, this tea dress represents a fashion bridge between the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Full of Victorian delicacies like eyelets, pin tucks and embroidery, it also features a lower, straight neckline favored by the Edwardians. Beyond its exquisite details, comfort and wearable size, it also sports the beautifully flounced hem being revived in modern prairie dresses today.
Long sleeved tea dress with front sailor neckline accentuated all over with pintucks and inset eyelet bands at bodice, upper arms, waist and down skirt front; flounced eyelet hem. 16 rear button closure at bodice, 3 buttons at wrist; unlined.
