1930's Silk Satin Floral Gown, Paul Poiret Textile

About the Item

1930's Silk Satin Floral Gown made of Paul Poiret Designed Textile. Elegant design with draped bodice caught up into a large bow on left shouder. Simple straight cut with a circular panel on back skirt forming a small train. Side snap closures and 2 ties knotting on the low cut back. Paul Poiret designed textiles for various companies in 1930's to augment his income from his failing Couture house. Selvedge in dress interior shows Poiret designation.
