About the Item
We are mad for plaid! And it is especially fun when applied to a 1980's Norma Walter's strong shouldered silhouette and black sequins are added for a little flash of bling. This two piece silk dress includes a pullover top with built-in knit camisole and ribbed glitter waist band paired with a midi length flared skirt with knife pleats at the back. The full dolman style sleeves narrow at the buttons cuffs and provide a strong shoulder with pleating at the top. The skirt is designed to fit narrowly at the top, with hooks and snaps at the back, and beautifully flows to a lovely length. The touch of sequins incorporated into the red, black and yellow tartan design are unexpected and welcome especially for holiday attire ... perfect dress for cocktails by the fire.

Very good vintage condition.
SIZING & MEASUREMENTS
Marked a U.S. size 4 and fits true to size with attention to the following measurements. As with many Norma Walters designs, the look is classic 1980's with strong shoulders narrowing to the hips which means that the top fits a little larger than the skirt. There are no shoulder pads in the top so the ensemble might best be suited for strong shouldered figures though pads could be added, if desired. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4.
