An incredible and museum-worthy piece. 1920's men's swimming costume, perhaps intended for Sutro Baths. . Red and black knit with color-block striping and lace-up detail at chest. Modesty skirt silhouette with shorts peaking out below. Although this was designed with the male form in mind, we have clearly photographed the piece on a woman's mannequin and can be worn and admired by all. A remarkable piece of American history to acquire for any fashion historian or fashion lover.
Overall excellent condition, even more so considering it's 100+ years old.
Labelled a Men's 34", and still remains accurate over 100 years later!
