About the Item

Mix a Mai Tai and get ready to do the “limbo,” because your beach party wardrobe is covered. A departure from the classic, WASP-y fashion for which the brand was known, this rare tiki-inspired playsuit is both modest--thanks to its sarong skirt and bloomer bottoms--and unapologetically youthful due to its party-hearty print. (In true Peck & Peck form, you should probably wear it with pearls.) Tiki print bathing suit with sarong tie skirt; lightly boned, peaked bust with puckered pleat detail and ruched elastic side inserts at bodice. Adjustable buttoning straps and rear metal zipper closure; self lined at bust, which has inserts for padding if desired. Panty unlined but protected by skirt. fabric: NON-STRETCH cotton noteworthy: hand washable in cool water; bottoms meant to fit blousy, like bloomers alterations: replaced elastic at leg holes condition: excellent measurements (taken dry*): bust: 36 ½” unstretched, 40 ½” stretched straps: adjustable from 15 ½”-16 ½” underbust: 32” unstretched, 36 ½” stretched waist: 29” (adjustable due to tie waist) hips: 44” leg circumference: 20” unstretched, 30” stretched skirt sweep: approx 43” (adjustable due to tie waist) length: 31 ½” from shoulder (at shortest adjustment), 23” from underarm *please note this is not a lycra suit; therefore measurements will not stretch as significantly when garment is wet.
