About the Item

This antique stand made of ash wood has a modest yet beautiful presence. The combination of the rustic tabletop and the delicately turned lathe legs is impressive. Although it is not very decorative, the details have a sense of handcraft, making it a piece that adds a quiet accent to the space. The tabletop is made of three boards of different widths, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful grain of ash wood. The proportions that taper towards the legs are light, and it has a clean appearance from any angle. It is recommended as a stand for vases and lamps at the bedside, entrance, or next to the sofa, as well as a stand for objects and art pieces. It is tall but not oppressive, and will fit in well with a variety of spaces, both Japanese and Western. Our skilled craftsmen have carefully repaired it and it has been beautifully revived as furniture to be passed on to the next generation. * Although it is an antique item in good condition, there are small scratches and slight distortions other than those shown in the detailed images. Weight: - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
