About the Item

This is an old Japanese black wooden box. It is from the Meiji period (1860s-1900s). The material is cedar. This is black and beautiful. After many years of use, it has become a very deep color. I have collected many wooden boxes in the past, but this is by far one of the most special. It can be used as a sofa table. This is very rare. Weight: 14 kg.
