About the Item

A rare round table with four lathe legs. Usually, this design has only one leg, but this piece has a special structure with three well-balanced lathe legs that surround the central keyaki pillar. The old materials were disassembled and reassembled in our workshop. A hexagonal base was installed at the joint, and highly decorative wood was selected and used. The delicate vertical grooves on the legs and the straight lines that extend to the legs are beautiful, and the legs exude a quiet dignity. The table top is made of cherry wood, and the delicate grain and calm texture add soft shadows to the space. Although keyaki and cherry are different species of wood, their pale and gentle colors are highly compatible, and they appear to blend in with nature. The height is about 70 cm, making it easy to use as a cafe table. Combine it with a chair to create a comfortable table for snacks, tea, and reading. This is a highly finished, one-of-a-kind piece that is recommended for creating an elegant space, whether Japanese or Western. Weight : 15kg - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
