About the Item

It has a soft, rounded top and potter's wheel legs with a dignified appearance. This flower stand was made in the Taisho period. The lines that taper slightly towards the end of the legs and then swell again at the tips have a delicate beauty that breathes the sensibilities of the era. Although each part appears delicate, it is firmly assembled and stable. The material is cherry wood. It has a fine grain, a gentle feel when you touch it, and an appealing expression of the wood's surface that seems to take on a light glow. It is useful as a base for a vase or object, and when you want to tighten up a space a little. It is a modest piece, yet has a strong presence. Our craftsmen have carefully repaired it and brought it back to life as furniture to be passed on to the next generation. * Although it is an antique item in good condition, there are small scratches and slight distortions other than those shown in the detailed images. Weight: - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
