Japanese Antique Open shelf (2), Wabi Sabi, Japandi

About the Item

This open oak rack has no back panel and is shaped only by structural lines. Even with its clean, straight lines, the corners are slightly chamfered, highlighting the soft texture of the material. The open structure brings a sense of lightness to the space and is recommended not only for storage but also as a partition. All joints are reinforced, but there is a slight sway when shaken. This does not interfere with normal use, but we recommend installing it in a stable position, such as near a wall. A quiet piece that brings out the charm of books, vessels, plants, and other decorations. *This is an antique in good condition, but there are small scratches and slight distortions other than those shown in the detailed images. Weight: About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
