About the Item
A bamboo craft artist who studied under Living National Treasure Katsushiro Souho.
Established the "Yagisawa Bamboo Workshop" in Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture
Specializes in detailed meshwork.
A style that creates a contrast with thick bamboo
Looking at the box, you can see that it is named "Mokushin(黙心)", which means silent heart.
A unique Japanese bamboo weaving technique.
It is made with great detail, and if it cracks or breaks, it is sometimes redone from the beginning.
Engraved on the bottom: "Made by Keizo"
