About the Item
Splendid French writing cabinet from the Louis XV period from the 19th century.
The cabinet has four supporting feet with the pompous and majestic shapes of classic French furniture.
The low central body consists of 3 large chests of drawers, with two brass handles in patina, suitable for storing clothes or utilities for the area where you choose to place this piece of furniture. Above the drawer is a thicker frame, which protrudes elegantly.
Higher up we see a space with a majestic fabric handle, which opens a writing desk. In fact, one pulls down the sinuous and very beautiful wooden top. Above this are five more compartmentalized drawers leaving a frame filled with curves and sinuosity, very whimsical.
Above this are two mirrors that open like a window with original mirrors of the time in a rectangular shape with a hemispherical dome at the top. Opening these doors we see two elegant walnut shelves that create three compartments for storing all kinds of objects.
A pompous frieze rises above, with two small side waves surmounted by the central frieze element, decorated with a mirror at its centre.
The cabinet is marvellous and is suitable for classic and elegant styles.

Located in Milano, IT
Rare 18th-century wooden cabinet in the style of Louis XV, fine French manufacture.
The cabinet is made entirely of fine dark wood, four legs for support. The two legs at the front are more worked and thin, very important, those at the back have classic square strong dorma.
The cabinet is developed in height rather than width.
Centrally there is only one door all decorated with sinuous wood inlays and squiggly fretwork, very true to the French Baroque style.
At the top we see a semi-curved frieze, which lends even more majesty to the product. Inside, it is all covered with antique pink wallpaper...

Rococò Antique Cabinet in Walnut Wood with Glass
Located in Milano, IT
Very rare antique closet dating from the Rococo period of the 1700s, made of walnut wood with brass details, very elegant, fine Italian manufacture.
The antique closet is totally made of the finest walnut wood.
The base is supported by 4 square feet, placed diagonally, which create a very fine angle. Their workmanship is reminiscent of that of capitals, given the curly detail present on each of them.
The wooden base supports the central body of the cabinet composed of a clear glass display case, set into the wood. On the frame is a brass lock.
Inside the display case we find a storage space also complete with two drawers below. A brass bar in patina is present.
The centerpiece of the closet is its top: it is finely crafted through shapely and sinuous decorations. There are 4 ornamental capitals, one for each corner of the cabinet, also placed diagonally. The top is decorated with a finely worked and curved frieze, also made of walnut wood.
On the two front capitals are two decorative wooden structures, reminiscent of those on an ancient cup...
