About the Item
This polychrome porcelain box and cover is a superb decorative object, realized in China in the early 20th century.
The domed lid is decorated with a scene depicting a boy on a mythological animal, at his back there is another boy playing with a large sun umbrella.
In excellent condition, except for some signs of aging.
Provenance: Veilinghuis de Jager, Goes; Italian private collection.
