About the Item

An exceptional and rare Bronze Age bangle from ancient Thailand, cast in the form of two stylized serpents facing one another — a motif rich in symbolic meaning across early Southeast Asian cultures. This striking piece is beautifully patinated, the result of centuries of burial, giving it a deep green surface and a strong archaeological presence. The bracelet was formerly part of an old private Japanese collection and remains unrestored, preserving its authentic texture and form. • Provenance: Former Japanese private collection • Origin: Thailand • Period: Bronze Age, circa 2000–1500 BCE • Material: Cast bronze with natural burial patina • Dimensions: Diameter 8 cm (3.1 in), Thickness 1 cm (0.4 in) • Weight: 280 g (0.62 lb) • Condition: Very good archaeological condition; no repairs. An important and timeless piece of early metallurgy and ritual adornment — ideal for collectors of ancient jewelry or Southeast Asian antiquities. ⸻ Shipping & Customs International buyers – please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your local customs office to determine any additional costs before purchasing.
