Superb old Taoist statue in polychrome and gold lacquered wood, representing a Dignitary seated on a throne, armchair. It is carved from solid wood, with hand-painted details and embossed ornaments on clothing. He dressed in a long robe and wearing a cap. The Ancestors of China are also called Chinese Dignitaries.
