Wooden Low Table, Japanese Antique, Wabi-Sabi, Mingei

About the Item

This is an antique wooden low table from the Taisho period. It was used as a workbench by a craftsman at the time, and although it is unclear which craftsman used it, there are small white pieces embedded on the workbench. It is thought that it may have been made by an ivory craftsman, and is a masterpiece that gives a sense of history. The material used is high-quality Japanese zelkova wood, which has a beautiful texture due to years of use and aging. This low table is also recommended as a flower stand or display stand, and will blend in with any interior style.
