One-of-a-Kind 1960s Vintage Freestanding Teak & Steel Wall Unit

About the Item

A rare and architectural 1960s Danish wall unit that perfectly balances form and function. Crafted from warm teak and powder-coated steel, this freestanding piece is as much a sculptural statement as it is a highly functional storage solution. Anchored by a floating teak credenza with black vinyl-wrapped sliding doors and minimalist wood knobs, the design continues upward with two slim, open teak cabinets that appear to float between the steel uprights. The black and teak palette pops against the cream steel frame, giving it a sharp, modernist edge. Beautifully finished on all sides, this piece works equally well against a wall or floating in a space as a room divider. Whether you’re showcasing books and art, or storing a record collection and stereo, this unit adapts. Freshly cleaned and polished, in good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. Looking for a piece that stands out from the ordinary? This might be it. Height: 90.5” Width: 54.25” Depth: 18.25” Free local delivery. Worldwide shipping available (over ten years experience).
