Antique Japanese Meiji Era Cloisonne Enamel Tea Pot

About the Item

A Japanese covered tripod enamel over metal tea pot. Circa: the first half of the 20th century. The tea pot is enameled with polychrome medallions with flowers, butterflies, and a Phoenix bird surrounded by floral, foliage, and geometrical patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. A lid, a neck, and a base are decortaed with geometrical, foliage and swirl patterns made in the same technique. A handle and a spout are decortaed with a circular motif made in the Cloisonne technique. The gorund is inlaid with a Goldstone. Mounted on three legs. The bottom is adorned with a floral motif made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: L 4 in. H 2 in. W 3 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Refer to photos.
