About the Item

A pair of identical Japanese enamel over copper vases. Each vase has a globular shaped body and a wide neck with a fluted mouth. Each vase is enameled with a polychrome design representing medallions with blossoming flowers surrounded by floral, foliage, and foliate scroll ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The mouthes are decorated with polychrome floral, foliage, cloud, and foliate scroll patterns made in the same technique inside. Unmarked.
