About the Item
A fine and unusual antique metal clad and mounted wooden rice or grain bucket with attached steel poker originating from Southern India. The twin handled bucket is carved from a solid hand turned block of tropical hard wood with brass banding with centrally mounted bar and spindle and with an iron poker attached by a chain. The bucket is not marked.
A real conversation and decorative item to display in any kitchen or home setting. A wonderful interior design piece.
