Chinese Qing Dynasty Sang de Boeuf Bulbous Vase.

About the Item

Magnificent Chinese porcelain monochrome ox-blood vase with a stout rounded body and a long elegant flaring neck. It was created in the first half of the 20th century. Monochrome glazes like sang de boeuf enjoyed a revival in the Qing Dynasty and were regarded as the high points of historical Chinese ceramics. The vase is in a very good condition. The bottom is drilled to be converted to a lamp. Measurements: H 16 ½” x Diameter 10” Weight: 9 lbs 4 oz
