This exceptional antique Danish sterling silver table bell has a plain bell shaped form. The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and has a planished finish. The lower portion of this silver table bell is plain applied moulded border to the sound bow. The table bell is fitted with a sterling silver handle modelled in the form of a bird amidst iconic Jensen style scrolling leaf and bead ornamentation. Here is a hard-to-find modernist silver-plate cocktail shaker designer by Emil Schuelke in the mid-1930s and made by Napier Company of Meriden, Connecticut. The cone-shaped shaker consists of two pieces--the top can be used for measuring ingredients. This example is in good condition--there are no deep scratches or dents. There some silver losses on the body and top of the shaker and the inside strainer has loss as well. You can tell the shaker has been used--there is wear to the interior. We've included several photos which represent the condition well. But all in all, this shaker presents nicely and would make a great addition to any bar or cocktail shaker collection.
