An extremely rare pair of George IV silver Spectacles made in London in 1825 by Edmund Taylor. The spectacles are of typical form with unusual extendable arms. This rare pair are in excellent condition and still possess their original lenses. The spectacles are very well marked and are engraved with the incuse makers mark ET, for the small worker and spectacle maker, Edmund Taylor. Additional information: Year: 1825 Country: London Length, lens to lens: 3.75 inches, 9.38cm. Length of arm, extended: 6.1 inches, 15.25cm.
