"Large lantern of Asakusa Kannon-do. 浅草観音堂大提灯 "
Publisher: Watanabe Woodblock Print Shop, Ginza, Tokyo.
A seal used for about 10 years from around 1932 or 1933.
We believe this work is the original published in 1934.
What is very rare is that it has been left in its original frame.
There is a sticker on the back board that is thought to be from Watanabe Woodblock Print.
This is the first time I've seen this sticker. This is a very rare gem.
We hope that it will become a rare resource.
