About the Item
Antique Chinese Honey Quartz Dragon Snuff Bottle, a flat rectangular form with rounded shoulders and footed base of a golden coloured translucent material with horizontal striations and trapped inclusions dynamically carved in high relief surround of two dragon heads emerging amongst swirling clouds, round short neck with flat mouth rim and narrow aperture with coral stopper and carved organic material for the short spatula type spoon. One small rim frit, otherwise fine condition. Late 19th century. 2-1/4 in. high x 1-1/8 in. wide x 7/8 in. deep. 1.5 oz. (43g)
