About the Item

1950’s Vintage Kitchen Towels – Mixed Selection. We have a large stock of these heavy weight kitchen towels from Hungary. Some are new old stock, some are well washed and loved. All are clean, washed and ready to use. All towels are made from natural fibres, most are linen cotton and occasionally some hemp and also pure cotton. Some of the new old stock towels can have a relatively stiff raw fibre feel, this is simply the natural fibres that have never been heavily washed and broken in. Listing is for one towel, stripes, plain, etc a random selection is made when picking in our warehouse. Towels are typically 100x50cm in size but there are larger and smaller ones in this batch. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
