About the Item

Antique machine to work wool made entirely of wood, from the beginning of 900, Italian manufacture. The structure is typical of the machines of the past: there is a lower seat in the front, the seat is brown leather slightly worn. The supporting structure is made of wood and is supported by 4 rigid and firm feet. The central body is made of iron for the gears, the sleeve for working and the mechanism for processing. The mechanism for processing wool consists of curved iron spikes, useful for untangling the wool.
