This Ikat textile originates from the Island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is hand-woven using naturally dyed yarns via a method passed on through generations amid the Dayak Tribes scattered throughout the island. It features a stunning red, green & subtle blue pigment as well as a further array of coloured detailing and distinct tribal patterns.
There is a hole half a centimetre wide highlighted in the images.
