With its graceful lines and weathered patina, this 19th-century iron garden bench brings the poetry of age and craftsmanship to any outdoor setting. Hand-forged in France, the bench features a slatted seat and backrest formed from narrow iron strips, elegantly curved to create a contoured silhouette. The scrollwork arms and rounded legs lend a sculptural quality, while the surface reveals layers of original paint worn away by time and the elements, exposing a rich, variegated finish of rust, red, and cream. Sturdy and functional. Layers of the original paint have a timeworn appearance, lending a beautiful patina to the bench. Areas of rust are present.
